It would be cool to extend the useflag description for a) widevine - Unsupported closed-source DRM capability (required by Netflix VOD) + Unsupported closed-source DRM capability (required by Netflix, Amazon Video and Sky Ticket VOD) b) proprietary-codecs - Enable proprietary codecs like H.264, MP3 + Enable proprietary codecs like H.264, MP3 (required by Netflix, Amazon Video and Sky Ticket VOD) Since I have a restricted useflag policy enforced by '-*', I only enabled the widevine useflag just to wonder about why neither Amazon Video nor Sky Ticket started the video, but instead complained about either widevine not being available (although loaded in plugins) or that the audio codec being unsupported. Above-mentioned updated useflag description could have aided me. As a side-note: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Netflix could mention the useflag proprietary-codecs. Well, however you like. It would help the ones of my kind. Tested with www-client/chromium-57.0.2987.133.
Alternatively, I wonder if widevine could require proprietary-codecs useflag?

Maybe we could just make it a generic "required by popular video streaming services". > As a side-note: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Netflix could mention the > useflag proprietary-codecs. It's a wiki, so you could make the change yourself.
