Description Alex Linke 2004-08-24 04:40:17 UTC
Hi!

I wrote an ebuild for fbcmd, which is a tiny tool to access some Fluxbox core functions from the commandline.

It was written by Mathias Gumz and can be found at: http://darkshed.net/files/c_cpp/fbcmd/

I set LICENSE to "as-is", but I'm not completly sure about that.

I suggest x11-misc/fbcmd, because the other fluxbox-tools are located there, too.

I tested the ebuild on my box and didn't get any problems.

If you put my email-address in the ChangeLog, please use

instead of incubation.11@freenet.de. Thanks alot!

Have a nice day,

Alex

Could you please fix the use invocation on this?

If I understood you right, the use invocation should be fixed now.

I've spoken to upstream about this and we both agree that it's not really worth adding this package to portage right now. Maybe at a later date when things like "fbcmd move 10 10" and similar work.
