(In reply to Matt Turner from comment #1) > I get the announcement emails. No use in filing a bug :) In a distant future, the Gentoo packaging system will be able to automatically download new version of the package, build it several times with various configurations, run tests, and if the builds&tests succeed the ebuild file will be automatically added to the official Gentoo portage repository. All of this will happen within 1 hour from publishing the package at https://dri.freedesktop.org/libdrm/ On my machine, I will by notified that the x11-libs/libdrm package version bump is automatically generated and might not work reliably because it hasn't been tested on any real-world machines yet. I agree that there is no use in filing a bug, but the reason I am thinking it is that I believe in automation of processes. > commit c1494964a931ed5df3ac473ac74344666867ead2 > Author: Matt Turner <mattst88@gentoo.org> > Date: Thu Apr 6 23:27:51 2017 -0700 > > x11-libs/libdrm: Version bump to 2.4.77
