log for attempted qt-3.3.3 emerge
Comment 2 mdcline 2004-08-23 19:04:51 UTC
From my reading of the emerge log, it looks like the problem is with compiling MySQL support into qt. I have mysql installed on my computer, but the server (mysqld) was not running on my computer at the time of the emerge.
Comment 3 mdcline 2004-08-23 19:11:12 UTC
I tried the emerge with "-mysql" USE flag, and I got the following error:

Comment 4 mdcline 2004-08-25 09:06:54 UTC
Turns out that there were general problems with my system unrelated to the qt emerge. I received random error messages whenever I tried to do anything. So, I restarted my computer, fixed some file system errors, and then the qt emerge worked no problem.

Sorry about the erroneous bug report.
