Description crusaderky 2004-08-23 15:21:26 UTC
I used to have xine-lib-1_rc4-r1 and I remember it worked (I didn't use it very frequently). Now I've installed 1_rc5-r1 and any application using xine-lib (i've tried with xine and kaffeine) segfaults on load. I've tried downgrading back to rc4 but it continues to segfault. I can't recall what broke it, sorry.

xine-lib 1_rc5-r3 is the latest, might want to emerge sync and make sure the
problem still exists.
Comment 2 crusaderky 2004-08-24 02:48:41 UTC
it does with 1_rc5-r3.
Comment 3 crusaderky 2004-08-24 14:44:51 UTC
It has misteriously returned working. O_o

This reminds me of Windows..... :P

The only logic explanation I can find is that it began to crash when I switched to X.org and it got fixed when I reinstalled my NVIDIA drivers (although all other OpenGL applications worked perfectly).
