Can the next LiveCD do its dhcpcd in the background, like Knoppix? My ISP's dhcp server is very slow to respond -- sometimes taking 10 or more seconds to issue an IP. It would help if I'm not stuck there for that long. Knoppix does it perfectly, by the time bash starts, dhcpcd is complete.

Actually, I take that back... this is already done in the latest livecd-tools... so it should be good to go
