I'm right now running with zope 2.6.4 and plone 2.0.3 which is leaving me with an unstable plone site. Need advice on which way to upgrade/downgrade.

Getting this error on emerging archetypes

 * >>> Installing archetypes-1.3.0_beta3 into the "zope-2_6_4" zinstance...
cp: cannot stat `//usr/share/zproduct/archetypes-1.3.0_beta3/ArchExample': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat `//usr/share/zproduct/archetypes-1.3.0_beta3/ArchGenXML': No such file or directory

This leads to the archetypes product not installing into the /var/lib/zope/zope-2_6_4/Products/ directory like the v1.2.5 release did. I can downgrade to archetypes-1.2.5_rc4 and things kind of work.

It looks to me like the contents of the tarball for archetypes is quite different as discussed here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51825#c25

The ArchExample and ArchGenXML directories no longer exists and the install of archetypes needs to reflect that change?

Right now, working off "emerge world" and the above packages.keywords leaves you in a bad state. How do I run a plone 2.x site and get stable again? Go up to Zope 2.7 or start downgrading to what I was running in June prior to updating. Maybe the archetypes issue getting resolved would help it?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
described in details sectoin
Actual Results:
Plone fails to start

Expected Results:
Plone started

Very related to Bug 51825 which is working on upgrading plone/zope at the CVS level.

Looked alittle bit more at this problem last night. I think net-zope/archetypes/archetypes-1.3.0_beta3.ebuild needs to be pulled from the cvs tree. It is incompatible with net-zope/portaltransforms/portaltransforms-1.0.4.ebuild and it has it has bug in it. For now, running archetypes-1.2.5_rc4 seems to be the way to go.

i masked all 1.3 versions and bumped to 1.2.5_rc5
