Could it be possible to update the app-cdr/disc-cover ebuild to make use of the new webapp eclass ? It would be interesting to be able to configure it via webapp-config in order to use the cgi scripts. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
To be honest, I have no clue about webapp-config. As the metadata.xml tells, dragonheart and the webapps-unmaintained-team are responsible for it.

do we have to keyword app-cdr/disc-cover and/or www-apps/disc-cover? also: $ disc-cover Can't locate Audio/CD.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/x86_64-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6/x86_64-linux /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/x86_64-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6 /usr/local/lib/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux .) at /usr/bin/disc-cover line 167.
Please mark both if possible. "Can't locate Audio/CD.pm in @INC": you didn't set the cdrom USE flag, did you? local use flags (searching: cdrom) ************************************************************ [- ] cdrom (app-cdr/disc-cover): Enable audio CD support. This is not needed to make www-apps/disc-cover work.
amd64 and sparc ping
~sparc keywords added.
right, if i have USE=cdrom it seems to work. what exactly is the cdrom useflag supposed to do anyway?
The cdrom USE flag is supposed to pull the dev-perl/Audio-CD-disc-cover dependecy in, which isn't mandatory if you don't have (or don't want to use) a CD-Rom drive. You can still use disc-cover without a CD-Rom drive, using the Web application. There are many examples online.
i see, that makes sense. ~amd64'd.
