A new version of x11-apps/intel-gpu-tools has been released: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/intel-gpu-tools/plain/NEWS I've tried to simply rename the intel-gpu-tools-1.15 ebuild and it's working without an obvious problem here on ~x86_64.
The new version is 1.18.
Current version if intel-gpu-tools is 1.20. Has there been any progress on this?

Hello Intel coworker (from the cube right behind you!) :) I have not spent much time trying to maintain intel-gpu-tools in Gentoo, since I rarely use its tools. I would be very happy to take pull requests on GitHub from someone more interested in IGT.

Hey Intel coworker! Small world. I am interested in getting the latest IGT Gentoo, so I then can port it to our chrome OS development environment. Our partners believe in upstream first, so I can't directly change it within our environment. If there isn't currently anyone working on it, I can take a stab at it :).
