<snip> Release Name: 0.1.12 Notes: gtkam is a Gnome-based front-end to the gphoto2 library which allows you to retrieve photos and movies from your digital camera. gphoto2 supports over 300 cameras. This release consists of some bug fixes: - 897457 (gtkam fork() problem) - 934744 (./configure --without-bonobo doesn't disable bonobo) - 936625 (Compile fails at gtkam-chooser.c, GtkCombo) </snip> Tried simply renaming ebuild. Fails patch from bug 45510.
I should read better. Our bug 45510 is fixed in this release. So no need for the patch anymore. Also bug 36684 seems to be fixed. At least I'm able to compile gtkam --with-gnome.
Created attachment 38991 [details, diff] ebuild patch from version 0.1.11 to 0.1.12 Patch. Reenabled gnome support and added patch fixing helpdoc problem. Removed patch about bug 45510.
Created attachment 38992 [details] gtkam-0.1.12-helpdoc.patch goes into ${FILESDIR}
Any reason why 0.1.12 is not yet in portage?
Just to cause some traffic about this bug: Any Reason why the ebuild is not in the tree?
Hi, Just compiled gtkam 0.1.12. It works well for me and I like to vote for inclusion in portage. It even resolves a bug from 0.1.10. If I select a number of foto's and want to save them in a directory ~/ik/ook , the foto's are placed in ~/ik... And... It's over 1 year old! Please! Thanks! R. Bosch
I've been having some issues with gtkam and collision-protect. It seems that the install function doesn't take into account scrollkeeper stuff. Disabling install (so that it falls back to the gnome2.eclass gnome_src_install) makes the collisions go away.
Ebuild is in tree. Now gnome support can again be enabled as bug 36684 should be fixed in this 0.1.12 release. Anyone tried compiling gtkam with use="gnome"?
Thanks, I fixed up gnome support and added the helpdoc patch to 0.1.12-r1
