Description Matt Turner gentoo-dev 2017-03-11 16:57:29 UTC
It fails tests and hangs. I let it run overnight:

t/000_load-problem.t ...... ok
t/00_Pari.t ............... 1/559 PARI: *** incorrect type in gtolong. at t/00_Pari.t line 30.
t/00_Pari.t ............... Dubious, test returned 255 (wstat 65280, 0xff00)
Failed 554/559 subtests
t/01_no_extra_newlines.t .. PARI: *** forbidden
t/01_no_extra_newlines.t .. ok
t/55_analyz.t ............. Failed 4/6 subtests
t/55_ellglobalred.t ....... skipped: no tests found in `t/../../pari-2.3.5/src/test/32/ellglobalred'
t/55_elliptic.t ........... Failed 34/46 subtests
t/55_galois.t ............. skipped: no tests found in `t/../../pari-2.3.5/src/test/32/galois'
t/55_graph.t .............. # Can't locate Term/Gnuplot.pm in @INC, ignoring plotting
t/55_graph.t .............. 1/28 PARI: *** forbidden
PARI: *** forbidden
PARI: *** forbidden
PARI: *** forbidden
PARI: *** forbidden

The "incorrect type in ..." I think is relevant. It shows up in the (failing) test suites of Crypt-Primes, Crypt-Random, and Crypt-RSA. I suspect anything that depends on it is broken on ppc.

I've dropped keywords on dev-perl/Math-Pari. Not sure if there's much point in investigating.

I guess this can be closed? No complains since you dropped the keywords a year ago. ;)

Fine by me.
