For Korean gentoo user,kde-i18n-ko need.
kde-i18n-ko still in snapsots, anyway, that work fine. so
Plese input below line to kde-i18n 3.2.3.ebuild.

 linguas_ko? ( mirror://kde//snapshots/kde-i18n/kde-i18n-ko.tar.bz2 )

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.There is no Kde-i18n-ko in kde-i18n-3.2.3.ebuild
2.so cant see korean in default KDE menu and messages.
3.so add that line and emerge kde-i18n.

Actual Results:
I Can use KDE system for Korean.

Comment 2 Eric Brown 2004-09-15 20:24:40 UTC
is this the bug that prevents korean input from working properly in KDE?
Comment 3 Kitae 2004-09-15 21:57:36 UTC
with kdelibs-3.2.3-r1 and kdebase-3.2.3-r1
Yes,
before install kde-i18n-ko.tar.bz2, I can't use Korean
with any XIM.
After install that(editing ebuild and use that)
I can use Korean with boths XIM Nabi and scim(scim-hangul).

I am not still upgrade kde-3.3.0 system, so doesn't test these version,
but I think kde-i18n-3.3.0 is almost same kde-i18n-3.2.0
(just cheking ebuild) and doesn't contain Korean support.
For using Korean, I think should install kde-i18n-ko.

the korean translation has not met the requirements set by kde developers
to be included in a kde release yet, so I don't think we can ship it. (There
are many other in this state).

However, kde-i18n-ko.tar.bz2 has only translation strings, the input methods
for korean should not be affected. Can you investigate a bit more? (or maybe
it works with 3.3?)

stable packages only. kde.org wants your help. ;)
