On amd64 I can't compile app-arch/kdar-1.1.1, the error occurs already while running "configure". Please tell me your versions of app-arch/dar.
Fixed DEPEND bug and bumped version. thanks.
No, that didn't solve it. I get the error again with kdar 1.2.0, I don't think it's a DEPEND bug. Take a look at the configure warning at the beginning of my original bug report, it seems like something else is wrong. I'm using dar 2.1.4.
kdar works fine on my amd64. please tell me your `emerge info` and `etcat files dar`.
Sorry for taking so long to answer, I just must have overlooked it. Perhaps this problem was fixed in dar-2.1.5. please try.
kdar 1.2.0 compiles against dar 2.1.5, so I'm happy now. :) Since the problem I had seems to be non-generic (otherwise kdar wouldn't have got an amd64 keyword in the first place), I'm closing this bug now. If however other people report similiar problems, the bug can be reopened anytime. Thanks for your help Takuto.
