Description Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2017-03-05 12:04:22 UTC
Opening ahead of time to track required changes in reverse-dependencies.
Comment 1 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2017-03-05 14:57:13 UTC
@pesa, I can't find open issues except pykde4 which is fixed in -r3 and would need stabilisation in lockstep. bug 605462 does not affect stable (and I suspect is fixed by simple rebuild).

Maybe this is already worth to be given a tinderbox run.
Comment 2 Davide Pesavento (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2017-03-05 16:15:17 UTC
yeah I was actually wondering what these "required changes in reverse-dependencies" are...

I don't know about bug 605462, but note that 4.19 had some serious regressions, fixed in 4.19.1, so maybe ask for a re-test with .1
Comment 3 Davide Pesavento (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2017-03-05 16:20:50 UTC
We could also include dev-python/PyQt5-5.7.1 in this stabilization

qgis, e.g., has been fixed and stabilised for >=4.19 compat already.

That particular bug may have been caused by missing rebuild after sip upgrade, at least when I read the upstream and Debian bugs right. I've thus added a subslot operator on python-poppler-qt4 version bump.

OK, created a package list but did not add arches yet, CC'd toralf instead.

@toralf, the list is not complete without =kde-apps/pykde4-4.14.3-r3 from bug 606404.

It's been almost 20 days, do you think we can add arches already?
