Description * 2017-02-20 06:14:08 UTC
My system is macOS Sierra (10.12.3) built from the latest bootstrap-prefix.sh. I noticed gcc-5.3.0 was added to the prefix tree, which I assume is eventually necessary for more recent fortran support.

The profile mask says not to file bugs for packages that fail to build with non-apple gcc, but doesn't say anything about gcc itself, so I'm filing this FYI and feel free to close.

The compile fails here:

Comparing stages 2 and 3
warning: gcc/cc1-checksum.o differs
warning: gcc/cc1obj-checksum.o differs
warning: gcc/cc1objplus-checksum.o differs
warning: gcc/cc1plus-checksum.o differs
Bootstrap comparison failure!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
(Unmask sys-devel/gcc in the profile)
emerge -1 sys-devel/gcc

gcc-5 is no longer in the tree
