Description dvein9 2017-02-13 01:04:31 UTC
Clean Gentoo Install amd64:

When using:

auth required pam_google_authentication.so

in /etc/pam.d/system-auth

I cannot login with lightdm. After entering user password it does ask for code but after entering code it loops back to entering password.
(FYI on my debian system google-auth works with lightdm)

Also when trying to login as root on TTY I get Invalid Verification Code error. But when accessing a normal user for a TTY I can login but cannot su.

I was able to fix root TTY issue. I had a clock skew hwclock was 2 hours ahead of system clock. Rookie Mistake, not sure how I was able to login with a normal user though. Also this bug may be needed to move to lightdm as it still does not work.
