Created attachment 463350 [details, diff] ebuild bump to 0.28.1 mythtv needs to be bumped to 0.28.1 as all german DBV-T users will need this version in march to be able to view tv. See: https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/12945 As for libvpx mythtv 0.28.1 builds fine against libvpx-1.6.1 and I don't see any problems. Furthermore mythtv 0.28.1 seems to allow building against current libcec-4, see https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commit/0890206d9d303db7f10829b7d9bf574e091e70fc This bump thus should solve #591006 and #603028. Required adaption of ebuild is attached.
I need this to address the bug in 0.28 that breaks user Python scripts as discussed here: https://forum.mythtv.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1129&start=15 If you're trying to get user jobs to work, and you see errors like this: MythDBError: MySQL error 1241: Operand should contain 1 column(s) Then this bump is exactly what you need. This worked for me, though I had to apply the patch manually to the 0.28-r1 ebuild that changed the libvpx limits.
