Thank you for the report. "You don't have permission to access /osg/Downloads/Linux/Installers/ut-install-436.run on this server. Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe" HOMEPAGE http://utpg.org/ is down too since several months. last version here: http://web.archive.org/web/20160601105138/http://www.utpg.org/ http://www.unrealtournament.com/ gets redirected Does anybody know further mirrors? We were not allowed to mirror, so we have to remove the package from the tree, if upstream is dead and no working mirror is available.
I've fixed this by using http://www.oldunreal.com as the HOMEPAGE and http://www.ut-files.com for the downloads. I had hoped to use the former for the downloads too as it seems like the best resource but it has download restrictions. I have also applied this to the other related ebuilds. The fetch restrictions are probably overkill, you can find these files all over the place and no one seems to care. Still, Gentoo likes to be cautious in this respect. In other news, I'd like to do a lot more with UT99. I promised this when I became a dev. When news broke this week that someone was writing a Vulkan renderer for it, it reminded me that I really should get around to this.
