hanno, I've changed the subject.. we are close to 1.2 release. dont bother to update for 1.2rc1. Ill post again when we release 1.2.

works here, although I assume you will want to make that 1.2 directory a variable. 

Please add media-libs/tiff as a USE flag, and I think lcms should be one too rather than a pure dependancy. Official release is tomorrow at 15:00 GMT at aKademy.
