Description groepaz 2004-08-18 15:11:49 UTC
when working on the virtual terminals i noticed that the messages from the adt746x driver ("cpu fan speed set to blabla") are beeing outputted on the current active terminal aswell as in the system log (the latter is correct ofcourse). i find this rather strange and irritating ... shouldnt happen i guess ;) messages from other running daemons (like cron etc) do not act this way.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. login in a virtual terminal
2. wait for fan to spin up (compile something in other term...)
3.

Comment 2 Tim Yamin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-25 18:24:49 UTC
This is an issue with the upstream kernel.org kernel, please file a bug at http://bugme.osdl.org so the upstream kernel developers can have a look at this issue. Thanks!
