I have installed x11-base/xorg-x11 6.7.0-r1 (but i think it happens with -r2 and 6.7.99, too). My second vga-card is a matrox mystique (PCI). If i am having an app on the screen where the matrox is drawing and if am scrolling in this app, i have heavy screen corruption. it's indepent of the window manager and it's a known bug at freedesktop. a patch is out there, but not yet in portage. Additional Links: http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=687 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=124028 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install x11-base/xorg-x11 (6.7.0-r1) with an Matrox Mystique in your PC 2. Config your xorg.conf like you can see in details-box above. 3. Marking upstream, since it's already listed. In fact it's marked fixed upstream as well.
This should be fixed in all current versions of X.
Marking fixed.
