Suggestion : @ Mauro Carvalho Chehab // media-video@gentoo.org : May I propose re-intoducing a "-9999" again, pointing to https://cgit.kde.org/kaffeine.git/ --> "Head" , in order to follow current git status, please? Background: Germany is switching from "DVB-T" to "DVB-T2" in just a little bit more than a month. Current enhancements (like 2016-12-27 13:24:46) are a pre-requisite to test newly adapted HW with already available testing radio frequencies. This would ease testing ... Thanks a lot! Kind regards Manfred
Gentoo kde project maintains live ebuilds in kde overlay.
(In reply to Johannes Huber from comment #1) > Gentoo kde project maintains live ebuilds in kde overlay. Thanks for pointing to the reference which I missed to mention. Surely, you prefer "just once", I understand? - and would agree. On the other hand, I prefer not to include the whole rat-tail of the complete kde overlay into my otherwise quite minimalistic system. Unfortunately, the referenced kaffeine live ebuild depends upon that tree above and thus can not be used "stand-alone", e.g. in /usr/local/portage/local-overlay. Thus I prefer continuing to locally use kaffeine git "Head"/"Master" directly. That's no problem for me. We might just miss the chance to invite additional testers on board. It's not that much time left till March 28, 2017. Being maintainer, the decision is completely up to you, Johannes. Thanks again. Respectfully yours Manfred
