Created attachment 461260 [details] mk-livestatus-1.2.8_p16.ebuild Hi there -- I'm attempting to clean up the check_mk situation in the gentoo repo, and as part of that I would like to make check_mk depend on nagios/icigna being configured with this package rather than it installing its own version. Attached is a proposed improved ebuild and version bump to 1.2.8_p16 -- changes are very minor, and include installing sample config files for nagios and icigna (stripped from check_mk's ebuild or package). If acceptable I can push this directly to the gentoo repo. Aside: listed maintainer bertrand@jacquin.bzb doesn't seem to have a b.g.o account, so emailing him directly with this bug URL.

Thanks for this patch! It looks like there is a syntax error here: + cat <<EOF >"${T}"/icigna.cfg + cat << EOF > "${T}"/livestatus.cfg || die I believe that double "cat << EOF" is a left over. Once you use "/usr/share/mk-livestatus" and later "/usr/share/${PN}", I believe you could use the same syntax. I've made no test yet tough. Cheers
