gtk+ 2.4.7 and glib 2.4.6 have been released. Bug fixes include the file chooser segmentation fault. (causes x86_64 programs using gtk2 file picker to segfault)
i'm not aware of any 64 bit crasher problems ? Anyway, we know about releases, if you got nothing substantial to add please don't ask for it the day ti hits the streets.
dude, relax. i put the "today" release number because that's what i found on the website. current portage is several versions behind and i simply chose to put the most current version number on the bug. mozilla developers are ignoring a bug (reported by amd64 users) that happens with the file chooser -- for which there is a gtk bug fix, because the gentoo portage has an old gtk/glib with known bugs.
? i'm merely stating facts. Afaik there have been no 64bit crash bug fixes between .4 & .7, so i really don't know why this should fix it.
