Running with a fully updated ~amd64 system, I have dev-python/jinja-2.9.3 installed and get the following runtime failure:

ERROR! Unexpected Exception: The 'jinja2<2.9' distribution was not found and is required by ansible

Thus it appears current runtime requires jinja2<2.9 and this should be reflected in the ebuild. It works if I mask <dev-python/jinja-2.9 by hand.

Fixed in the final release.  When I bumped the rc's, they only indicated teh jinja dep change for the 2.1.4.0 rc release.  I missed seeing the change in the 2.2.1 git branch.  It is possible they had not pushed all the commits at that point.

This is fixed in the final release today.
