after upgrading to pre5 some videos dont want to play after looking into it a bit it looks like its gmplayer related as mplayer will still play these files and another interesting tidbit is +xvid or +divx4linux use flags (doesnt seem to matter which) causes gmplayer to freeze hard and need killing on these files if both set to - you can click ok on the error box and it exits right http://a.scarywater.net/f-b/ the Nanami-chan files are one that cause the problems if you dont want to grab the batch they have let me know or if there is any thing else you need let me know i also caught this error when gmplayer blew up once [ws] Error in display. now its working for me i noticed i had gcc 3.4.1 before perhaps it was that sse bug causing havoc
