This was the process table I had to kill the grep and the makedbh command:

  This is an stable amd64 chroot image (named gnome-stable_20170108-172254) at a hardened host acting as a tinderbox.

at another stable image (desktop-libressl-stable_20170107-114550) at the tinderbox a hang occurred :

so I tend to assume a pattern. Both images have in common the stable keyword + gcc-5.4

and the 3rd stable image shows the same behaviour in this package :

I think we probably need to do new bugs for each bad package. Still an issue?
