Hi,
I am from crypto, maintainer of botan.
I just noticed that softhsm supports openssl crypto engine, and actually it is being used as botan is not detected.
Can we please drop botan as dependency as it is totally non-stable and use openssl?

should be solved in dev-libs/softhsm-2.2.0-r1 please test.
