After upgrading from pango 1.4.0 to 1.4.1, wheel mouse support does not work with gkrellm 2.2.1 or 2.2.2. I tried many library and program combinations to fix this and the only common solution was to downgrade back to pango 1.4.0 or earlier. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install pango 1.4.1 2. install gkrellm 2.2.0 or better 3. install the latest gkrellm-volume plugin 4. enable gkrellm-volume plugin 5. try moving volume control with mouse wheel Actual Results: When the mouse wheel is used in any direction the volume button goes all the way to the right. Expected Results: Volume button should make a small 'step' in the direction the wheel is rotated. I use an amd64 system. Most problems that should be common but do not go noticed are usually because of the smaller population of amd64 system owners.
no metadata reassigning by changelog (please add metadata !) @ reporter, all mousewheel stuff works correct here. Didn't test it with this particular app though. I wonder how pango could affect your mousescrolling. Anyway, i think this is more something for the actual 'maintainer'. And please post your 'emerge info' (the bugreport form mentions this !)
I only saw the wheel mouse problem with gkrellm-volume. I wonder if it is a amd64 problem. I dont have the environment to check otherwise right now. Maybe putting pango-1.4.1 to ~amd64 would be a good idea. Anyways, I didn't see anything about needing to put 'emerge info'.
