Please test this package against PHP 5.0.1. If the package works, please add a comment to this bug to say that the package works, and close this bug as 'RESOLVED INVALID'. If the package does not work, please add a blocker against 'virtual/php' (for dev-php/php) or 'virtual/httpd-php' (for mod_php or php-cgi) as appropriate, and close this bug as 'RESOLVED FIXED'. Thanks, Stu
I'm not quite sure what you're looking for here; the doxygen only has partial support for parsing PHP code, so it may work or it may not (but it has no need for a DEPEND on PHP whatsoever). From the doxygen manual: "Supports C/C++, Java, (Corba and Microsoft) Java, IDL, and to some extent C# and PHP sources." Anything related to PHP would be an upstream bug, no?
Yes, it would be an UPSTREAM bug. If we were being really strict about things, we'd test doxygen against PHP 4 and PHP 5. If it worked against PHP 4 but not PHP 5, we'd add a blocker against PHP 5 to make sure that users who upgraded didn't suddenly find that they couldn't generate docs anymore. Best regards, Stu
PHP5 support is only in the current CVS version and won't be available for at least a few weeks. There should be no blockage issues.
