Please find an ebuild for qpid-cpp at
https://github.com/fourceu/qpid-portage-overlay/blob/master/net-misc/qpid-cpp/qpid-cpp-1.36.0.ebuild

Due to changes in the project structure by the Apache team this ebuild now supercedes qpid-python in addition to previous (seemingly abandoned) contributions to the qpid-cpp package.
