This version isn't in gx86 yet. We need them to move forward first.
what's "gx86"? and is there any bug that's tracking python 3.6 being added there?

"gx86" refers to gentoo-x86, which was the name of the CVS module that was used for the gentoo ebuild repository. We converted gentoo-x86 to gentoo.git a year an a half ago; grobian needs to update his lexicon. ;) Anyway, I started working on an ebuild for 3.6 this week, and should have it committed by this weekend.
