Development of the next big revision of GtkRadiant has been slowly progressing for a while. Version 1.5.0 will be a development release aimed at power users who don't mind the occasional bug caused by the addition of new features. This pre-release beta build is being made public to get a wider range of test feedback, which will allow us to stabilise the build for a release candidate. There have been many changes since 1.4 - read the Change Log. changelog: https://zerowing.idsoftware.com:666/radiant/GtkRadiant/trunk/setup/changelog.txt i don't have enough time right now to provide an ebuild. it would be cool if somebody could write one. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
seems to be win32 only
The app is cross-platform, I just can't seem to find a download for 1.5.0 beta, at all... let alone a Linux download. Can you post a link to some mirrors for us?
Well, I saw this post on a linux related website: [...] This recent release mainly addresses power users and has been made public for beta testing and last bugreports before the first release candidate. The sourcecode is available from a subversion server. Take a look at this README for a list of requirements. yes wolf, i realize it's a cross-platform app, i wrote the frickin ebuild :P the point was, the 1.5.0 beta was only being released as win32, hence me closing this bug :P they finally released another version recently which includes linux support http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/files/radiant/nightly/1.5/gtkradiant-1.5.0-2004-09-26.i386.rpm
Linux: gtkradiant-1.5.0-2004-09-26.i386.rpm
I'm sorry, but what was the point in posting that comment? SpanKY already said that there was a Linux version in comment #4, we just haven't gotten to it.
