setting assignee to maintainer-wanted would be more appropriated in all those version bump request for wine, right? with multiple up2date wine overlays available I think it wouldn't last long until someone would like to (proxy) maintain wine. just my 2 cents. happy holidays and a good start into 2017

The lead went out of commission unexpectedly, but temporarily, and the rest of us probably didn't feel the need to make haste with bumps (it seemed things could be back to normal soon). That said, something should happen during this week, or at the very latest, next year... or rather, three (3) weeks from now, should things still not be back to normal. So yes, I'm asking for just a little bit more patience with regards to Wine. :] Cheers and thank you!
As with 1.8, I'm not really interested in maintaining the release candidates. We can certainly add 2.0 when upstream releases it though.

This is enough to get Doom working apparently, wine-d3d9-2.0-rc3.tar.gz doesn't exist anywhere yet so I spun up my own version - the patch hasn't change in a while
