kwin doesn't require 5.6.2, it's only saying that because it is currently installed against this version of qt. As long as the packages currently built for 5.6.x are part of the dependency graph of your emerge, they should be happy to move to a newer version of qt. This isn't a bug, just a dep resolution problem, you should hit up one of our support venues like forums or IRC. 2 suggestions: -Try adding --with-bdeps=y -Make sure you have no orphaned deps (depclean when possible)
