You're going to break people unless you stablize media-plugins/mythplugins-0.27.6_p20160318 at the same time. I adjusted your previous MythTV ticket in time but didn't get to this one.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know :S

Have you think on adding a blocker in media-tv/mythtv against older media-plugins/mythplugins ebuilds? That way you could ensure they are not mixed ever (even for people with stable tree + package.keywords with some packages there) and I think that, in that way, repoman would complain and probably help :)
