I have applied the latest patches (patch-2.6.7-mh4) from bluez.org (Official Linux Bluetooth protocol stack) to gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.7-r13 so that I can add the HIDP module for Bluetooth, which allows me to use my Bluetooth wireless mouse. I really think this patch should be included in genpatches. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.7-r13 2. Download patch from bluez.org 3. Apply patch. A minor error involving EXTRAVERSION appears (irrelevant) Actual Results: Bluetooth now works for HIDP devices Expected Results: This patch should form part of genpatches I've been using the new kernel with the patches for several days without any problems.
The newer patch-2.6.8-mh1 should be added to genpatches for the 2.6.8 kernel
dont have the manpower to maintain these patches, unless another dev decides to pick it up. bluez gets merged with mainline quite often as is, so there isn't too much need to keep up with -mh patchset atm.
