Our mirror (currently listed under "ftp.uni-erlangen.de"), has undergone some restructuring and is now reachable through "ftp.fau.de" and with a flatter directory structure: New URLs: http://ftp.fau.de/gentoo ftp://ftp.fau.de/gentoo In addition to the already listed services, we now provide: https://ftp.fau.de/gentoo rsync://ftp.fau.de/gentoo The old URLs will still be serviced for the foreseeable future. Demand for mirrors is not large, so we do not need additional mirrors at this time. Thank you for your consideration. -A
If you reread our ticket we do not ask for a new mirror to be added, but for an existing mirror to be changed... Please change our current URLs (ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/gentoo) to ftp.fau.de/gentoo. Just a rename would be sufficient and helpful. You may also add https and rsync entries.
