Can anyone explain what the policy on current nvidia-drivers is ?

Why was 375.10 pulled that quickly ?

Why not let the ebuilds "mature" and get some more wider testing ?

This reminds me a bit of Arch and its quick driver cycles ;)

For me, 375.20 makes the second instance (switching between two user sessions) of KDE screenlocker fail in more than a half of tries. That is a horrible user experience. 375.10 was fine, 370.28 is also OK.

375.10 was a beta release. 375.20 is labeled "stable" upstream in the same branch. If you have problems with that, nothing stops you from using the 375.10 ebuild from git.

And upstream has mentioned in numerous instances that there were regressions in 375.20 and that until a new version is released, 375.10 should be used instead.
