On every boot on two different systems I see this error message from GDM in systemd's journal: U Mon Nov 28 19:23:28 2016 3 gdm.service gdm[1767]: GLib: g_hash_table_find: assertion 'version == hash_table->version' failed Anyone knows what it means or how to debug/resolve it? Everything seems to be working fine, though.

I am experiencing the same error message. Dec 04 20:12:53 rok-laptop gdm[245]: GLib: g_hash_table_find: assertion 'version == hash_table->version' failed It only happens when I select "wayland" as my session, otherwise everything works normally. The timestamp exactly matches the time I press "login" button in gdm. When this happens, the whole system freezes up, nothing works, not even switching to another TTY. If I press a power button, system cleanly powers down.
And the version I am using is gdm-3.22.1-r1. This is preventing me from using Wayland.
Your bug is probably different as, looking to first reporter comment, in his case everything is working ok even with the message. Then, you probably should open a different bug Regarding the first issue, I would try to report the bug about the message directly to upstream -> bugzilla.gnome.org
It happens for me also without Wayland. Setting WaylandEnable=false and selecting a non-Wayland GNOME session also results in this error message. I will file an upstream bug for this.
