local:tools:dev-util/mingw64-runtime: Build extra tools. It would be really nice if this could be extended to state what tools are installed, i.e. letting the user choose without having to conduct additional research.
Same as in bug#600738 comment#1 This is upstream definition of tools, mainly cli utilities. We do not hack upstream build systems, we expose some flexibility based on its concepts. We are not documentation project for upstream.
@Alonbl, I don't see you on toolchain project roster, and neither in metadata.xml. I'd appreciate if you didn't close bugs reported to somebody else.

(In reply to Alon Bar-Lev from comment #3) > Please refer to the commit log of this package. If you are the maintainer for this package, please document that. We have appropriate ways of documenting who the maintainer is. Commit log is not one of them. While at it, please also fix the USE flag description in metadata.xml. You'll save time doing both of that in one commit.
Alon is an authority when it comes to mingw packages and has been for a long time. not that this debate requires the "authority" of a "maintainer" as that seems like useless bureaucracy at this point.
Doesnt change that the use flag description is pretty much useless.
USE description was updated in https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=478d91086baa442fb578e0982063b93a19caf382
