Hi! Both versions of lightdm 1.21.0 and 1.21.0-r1 crashes when using the gtk greeter. With 1.20.0 it doesn't happen. I'll attach the logs to see what happens. Thanks. Reproducible: Always

I'm quite sure the problem is line 71 in your lightdm.conf file. Due to a broken sed statement in the lightdm-1.21.0 ebuild line 71 was changed from # session-wrapper = Wrapper script to run session with to session-wrapper=/etc/lightdm/Xsession which is not allowed in that section this part of your config belongs to. Revert that change (just cut'n'paste the above line starting with # and replace line 71 in your config with it) and your lightdm should no longer crash. Please report back if that helps.

Done, I commented the line 71 and it's now working. Thanks.
Reported the segv upstream.
Fixed in version 1.21.1
