When I try to do an "emerge -uD world", I get: emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=media-libs/edje-0.5.0.20040501". !!! Problem with ebuild x11-wm/enlightenment-cvs-20030629 This is because elicit, entice, erss, ewl and entrance still have their dependencies on the old version scheme, i.e. ">=media-libs/edje-0.5.0.20040501", but portage doesn't think that the versions of the new version scheme without the date, i.e. "media-libs/edje-0.5.0", are greater than or equal to the versions with the date. I'm going to add patches to the ebuilds in a few minutes, when I have tested them.
Just found out that similar problems exist with evidence, examine, equate, etox, and esmart with respect to ecore (and others). And decided not to post all the patches, they are quite trivial (I just removed the date from all dependencies, where the scheme has changed) and you know the ebuilds better than I do.
