Description Simon Vermeersch 2004-08-09 08:50:54 UTC
When I set in Control Center->Appearance->Style->Effects the menu translucency to something else then XRender Blend, then they are really ugly.
Also, when I select an icon in Konqueror, it becomes ugly.
See the screenshots on http://titeuf.ph34rus.org/bug/ to see what I mean

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Control Center->Appearance->Style->Effects
2.Change translucency to Software tint or software blend

Actual Results:
The menus become really ugly.

Expected Results:
Nice transparant menus like with xrender

I forgot to say that I use kde 3.2.3 with X.org 6.7.0-r1 and nvidia drivers on an amd64.
This wasn't a problem on an athlon-xp with kde 3.2.2 and xfree.
