The current stable version of gtkpod for x86 is aging at .72.
I have installed the ~x86 gtkpod-0.80.2 and given it extensive testing for several weeks.

THe program performs as expected, searching, syncing all work, playing via the playlists, normalising etc. also work

I propose that gtkpod-0.80.2 be marked as stable at least on x86.
This version has many features and bug fixes at seen by http://gtkpod.sourceforge.net/ChangeLog

agreed.. it was due to be marked stable yesterday (after 30 days of testing...)
