Description Christian Bricart 2016-10-25 18:11:21 UTC
please add the set-misc 3rd party Nginx module.

As this also depends on $DEVEL_KIT_MODULE (like LUA), I've reworked the myconf/add-module logic w/i the ebuild

see attached diff against =www-servers/nginx-1.11.5-r1 ebuild

Reproducible: Always

bug #573710 also mentions this module in another context which has been postponed

Sorry, I have to decline the request:

The current situation isn't optimal. We are working on a solution to allow nginx module ebuilds, see bug 573710. But please understand that we will not add any new 3rd party module to the current ebuild no Gentoo developer maintaining nginx is using for him/herself because it is really a lot of work to keep track of everything and to test...

So if we would add the module you are requesting we would get a requests for additional modules to add... this would never stop.
