Description Sergey S. Starikoff 2016-10-19 07:14:31 UTC
$ eix -I eclass
[I] app-portage/eclass-manpages
     Доступные версии:      20150814 ~20150814-r1
     Установленные версии:  20150814(09:23:23 18.08.2015)
     Домашняя страница:     https://www.gentoo.org/
     Описание: collection of Gentoo eclass manpages

$ qlist app-portage/eclass-manpages | grep qt
/usr/share/man/man5/qt4-build.eclass.5.bz2
/usr/share/man/man5/qt4-build-multilib.eclass.5.bz2
/usr/share/man/man5/qt5-build.eclass.5.bz2
/usr/share/man/man5/qt4-r2.eclass.5.bz2

$ ls -1 /usr/portage/gentoo/eclass/qt*
/usr/portage/gentoo/eclass/qt4-build-multilib.eclass
/usr/portage/gentoo/eclass/qt4-r2.eclass
/usr/portage/gentoo/eclass/qt5-build.eclass

inheriting of documented, but non-existant eclass reasonably fails:

 * qt4-build.eclass could not be found by inherit()

Package is more than year old.
Probably we should review and update it.

Afaik these pages are autogenerated based on existing eclass files, can you re-emerge and close this bug, if the problem disappears?

I also remember that.
Re-emerge made this issue go away.
But it is *not* fix of this issue.
Changes in eclass list should cause automatical update (rebuild) of app-portage/eclass-manpages, not manually after user will find some inconsistance.

This is solved as a part of bug #612424 now.
