When I start vlc and click the prefernces button or the "+" button, nothing happens. I can confirm this bug, and it makes vlc almost unusable for me ..
This is on linux/x86 and osx is the default theme, so in fact i cannot use vlc as i cannot change the theme
My main problem with this bug report is that I see neither a "+" button nor a "preferences" button when I start VLC 0.7.2-r1. When I use the menu, I get the preferences dialog without any problem. Please be a more descriptive or attach a snapshot of the window and mark the button, I just don't get the idea, sorry.
I can no longer reproduce this bug for quite a time and I dont see it now with the 0.8.0 ebuild. So closing it. Maybe this has only been a one-time bug that did not always show up. Or maybe (most likely) that closed it: 10 Aug 2004; Chris White <chriswhite@gentoo.org> metadata.xml, +files/vlc-0.7.2-live.patch, vlc-0.7.2-r1.ebuild: Removed CFLAGS unsetting, disabled broken interfaces, added myself as maintainer, and stopped the live downgrading issue.
