Hello.

streamlink is a CLI tool for extracting streams from various websites to a video player of your choosing. More specifically, streamlink is a maintained fork of livestreamer, which is already in tree. livestreamer isn't actively maintained any more and is broken at least for twitch streams [1,2]. It would be nice to have a working fork in the tree.

CC'ing the current livestreamer maintainer to see if he's interested.
