I have emerged --update world and noticed that firefox 48.0.1 is unusable, since there are hunderds of ms latency when typing into URL, and even worse when trying to scroll in the page. Last version working fine is 38.8.0, in an otherwise unchanged environment. I am using the followind addons: adblockplus 2.7.3 canvasblocker 0.3.1 disconnect search 1.4.1.1 firebug 2.0.17 flashblock 1.5.20 lightbeam 1.3.0.1 magnetiser 0.975.1 modify-headers 0.7.1.1.1 It seems not to depend on addons or any user settings: mv .mozilla .mozilla-bak and running a firefox then has the same behavior. This time the latency between clicking into URL line and getting text cursor there was over 1s on a completely unloaded system. When reverting to 38.8.0 everything works perfectly.
Strange, works properly here...
This version of esr is not supported, please update to 45.x branch and reopen if you can duplicate your issue. You will also need to test in safe-mode where addons are disabled to ensure it is not one of them causing you issues
